The Ford Kenya party pioneer recovered the seat in the by-decisions held in December 2013, beating Amani Coalition's Musikari Kombo and Independent applicant David Makali.

IEBC on Monday requested Senate Speaker Ekwe Ethuro to dispatch the procedure of expelling Wetangula from the voter register because of renumeration assertions after the Supreme Court discovered him blameworthy of the offense in March this year.

Taking after a broad court transform, the Supreme Court requested the report on race acts of neglect in Bungoma Senatorial races gave to the executive of open indictments for further examinations and arraignment of Wetangula.
