Kenya shilling enduring against the dollar

The Kenyan shilling was enduring on Wednesday, with powerless dollar interest supporting the nearby cash.

At the end of business, business banks posted the shilling at 103.15/25 to the dollar, scarcely transformed from Wednesday's end of 103.25/35.

"There is next to no change overnight … Wherever request is coming into business sector, it is very much bolstered by supply," said a broker at one Nairobi-based business bank.

"We anticipate that the business sector will be rangebound somewhere around 103.10 and 103.60."

The shilling, which has lost around 14 percent against the dollar this year, has solidified in the previous month because of dollar inflows from seaward financial specialists pulled in by the premium rates of more than 20 percent on government Treasury bill
