Its very shameful to the government of Kisii county to have such fees tot eh resident who depend on their daily hustle to earn a living, but now the County Government has decided to siphon all the hustle they make through the levies and taxes to the residents.

#KISIICOUNTYMAENDELEOCHAPCHAP:If you want to start a shop in Kisii County, the single business permit will cost you KShs. 10,000. If you want to run a salon or Kinyozi in Kisii then the single business permit will cost you KShs. 8,000. For supermarkets, the permit costs KShs. 70,000 per annum.

Application Fees
The application of single business permit in Kisii County is not free. The application fee is KShs. 1,200 per application. If you wish to change your business name then you will be charged a fee of KShs. 650.
Parking fee
The parking fee in Kisii County for cars is KShs. 150 per day. Before the county government was established, the parking fee was KShs. 100 per day. For canter trucks, the parking fee is KShs 300. For Lorries, the parking fee is KShs. 400 and for trailers the parking fee is KShs. 1,000 per day.
If your car is clamped then you will pay a clamping fee of KShs. 1,500. The towing charges is KShs. 4,000.
For boda boda riders, the county charges KShs. 400 per month per rider on top of the parking fee. For taxis, the county charges KShs. 1,000 per month on top of the parking fee.
Kisii County Market Fee
If you wish to do any business in any open air market within Kisii County then be prepared to pay the market fee.
The market fee is charged per day.

For billboards in Kisii County, the advertisement fee is KShs. 14,000 per month for a 10m by 12m (10 x 12) billboard. For the 8m by 12m billboard, the fee is KShs. 12,00 per month
