Henrich Mmaitsi Musi Needs your Help
Henrich Mmaitsi Musi. Born 12/10/1988 in the village of Mangano Serem.He was working at Ngong Town, where he ran his small Barber business. In the morning of 19/8/2015 he received a call from his grandfather saying that his grandmother (who brought him up after the death of his parents) was sick and in hospital. Henrich decided to travel same day and got home safely. But the following day as he was travelling to kamamega to see his grandmother in hospital he got an accident at Shamakhokho on his way to Kakamega which left his hip joint broken.He was rushed to Mbale Hospital where he received first Aid before being transferred to Moi Referral hospital Eldoret where he couldn't get a admission that day and therefore he went back home with his pain. After going back again the doctor gave him a transfer to RACECOURSE HOSPITAL ELDORET where he got admitted. He began his medication and two operations were done with no success.
The operations costed 150,000 ksh where his family and friends were only able to raise 80,000ksh leaving a balance of 70,000ksh which his grandparents could not raise because they had already sold their only cow.
Henrich was therefore was locked in hospital only taking painkillers and nothing else could be done to him. He was under the mercies of the Hospital Management who even stopped the hospital bill from accumulating after learning of his helplessness.
His only hope was on social media where he posted in every page he came across. Some leaders like Mike Sonko could even reply to his plead on their page (making people think they actually cared ) but never helped later. It became a challenge for Henrich because people thought he is a scammer because they expected Sonko to act immediately.
Henrich did what he would to reach well wishers on Social Media, Since social media has the most powerful tool to seek for help. He went ahead and posted on groups and pages and one that moved many was the post he mande on TD JAKES page and people were typing amen to something he had posted. And a number of people were against it which brought alot of discussion on the topic which drew everyone's attention through what he was going through. Everyone went to his wall and posted encouragement words for him after the accident.
They told him alot of "sorries"until when a group of Well wishers had to interrupt them because Henrich needed money not pitty. The Group good hearted Kenyans sent him a message on his inbox and he told me all that was happening. They were so grieved about what he was going through after the accident. The following day the Group that came out to assist Henrich made a post t on Kilimani Mums (Group on Facebook) wherebytheywas asking people from Eldoret to help then get more information from the hospital since they were not around Eldoret.
One member connected them to her husband who works near the hospital and they contacted Henrich. The guy on the ground who was contacted, went to the hospital and asked if it's true Henrich is admitted there.The reception went through their records and yes he was in the hospital. After the confirmation they made efforts and posted it on social Media (Facebook) seeking help from their friends. Pastor Sammuel Kariuki Nganga came across the posts made on social Media (Facebook) and he got interested with the story and the following day he went to see Henrich at Racecourse hospital. He still made a second visit on the second day to meet the hospital Management to enquire what next was needed to be done for Henrich Help in terms of Treatment.
The Group that came up with helping Henrich Conditons, began collecting contacts from their friends, Now it came to attention for everyone Including Henrich's friends and others from Kilimani Mums (Facebook Group) who wanted to help him and formed a group.Immediately they started to make contributions. As the grouping doing fundraising, Pastor Sam was advised by the Hospital Management to transfer Henrich to MOI TEACHING REFFERAL HOSPITAL ELDORET where the operation is affordable. He left with him the same day but he was not admitted but given an appointment.

On his appointment the doctor examined his leg and Xray and explained that Henrich needed NUN CEMENTED HIP JOINT REPLACEMENT plates to help fix his broken hip joint and it costs 150,000ksh.The bill became so huge and The well wishers decided to get a pay Bill Number to help and seek to raise the money that was coming 300,000ksh because of the hospital balance 70,000, PLATE COST 150,000 and 80,000 for operation .The Group of friends who decided to help no matter created a whatsapp Group and Named it #RESCUE HENRICH MMAITSI because he was locked in hospital and someone had to help him. Their group has so far raised 60,000 ksh and they are asking any Kenyans out there to RESCUE HENRICH and help him walk again.God bless you and me.
