After the government gave a stun stand on IEBC Demos now Cord leaders have issued a two-week ultimatum to the Government to initiate dialogue over the IEBC impasse, failure to which they will schedule demonstrations for all through the week
Speaking at a presser at Capital Hill, co-chairman of the CORD Committee, Senator James Orengo, appealed to CORD supporters to maintain peace in their demonstrations, further urging the police to offer security during their demonstrations.
Also present was co-chair Sen. Johnstone Muthama who assured that protesters will not storm IEBC offices, but insisted that the protests will continue until IEBC is reconstituted as the needs of Cord leaders.
Earlier today, violence was reported along Thika road and in Kibera as Cord supporters attempted to march to the IEBC headquarters located at the City Centre Annivessary Towers.
Elsewhere, violence also erupted in Kisumu, Homa Bay and Migori counties with at least one vehicle and several motorbikes reportedly torched. Where one has been confirmed dead after allegedly the police as they were dispasing the demos shot the guy. Unconfirmed reports on the ground emerges that they are more that one people shot dead.

Business in Kisumu as been on stand still and Naivas Supermark, Tumaini and other shops have been looted by the Demonstrators. Other parts of the country have been reported to be calm though peaceful demos reported.
