
A 35-year-old man passed on, on Monday evening while two others are recovering at Embu Level 5 Hospital after they were hit by a vehicle along Dallas Estate street in Embu County.
Affirming the occurrence, Embu East OCPD Francis Sang said that the driver, Irene Muthoni, hit the three as she attempted to overwhelm another vehicle on the wrong side close Bonanza Academy School.
As indicated by Sang, the perished, Lemis Murithi, who had managed a leg break, died while experiencing treatment.
Then again, George Odor aged 25 and Duncan Mugambi, a 12-year-old Standard 5 student maintained minor wounds and they are responding admirably to treatment.
"Lemis Murithii sustained a broken right leg and died while undergoing treatment at Embu Hospital where they had been rushed, while George Odwa Odour, 25, and Duncan Mugambi, a 12-year-old Standard 5 pupil at County Primary School are still hospitalised but fairing on well," said Sang.
The police are examining the occurrence to see if the driver was on the off-base.
