DENNIS MOMANYI a Recce Squad officer who lost his life at Kapenguria to a bullet. Dennis is from Sironga village, Nyamira County. He didn't die because he deserved to die, He died because he was lured to death by an irresponsible police force which doesn't have morals.
The police officer who shot this young man who was defending his country is among the careless police officers shooting and killing innocent Kenyans carelessly in the name of participating in demos and even branding others as dangerous criminals. Our country is in a crisis in matters security. We trust nobody for our security, the police can't trust their colleagues anymore. Everybody is living an insecure life.
Our security forces let the SHOOT TO KILL order to serve on whoever who doesn't want to dance to the tune of cowardness. Impunity is running in the veins of our police force, police brutality is taking more lives than even diseases do. Rest in peace Willy Kimani and your 2 friends, 4 children at Elwak Mandera didn't had a chance to live to their dreams because of the careless security forces who doesn't value the art of living.
Several scores of people in Kisumu recently left dead and others nursing bullet injuries just because someone wants to curtail the freedom of assembly and instill fear to the people. A young girl partially blind because of careless shootings from police offices pursuing an inmate who escaped from prison, so does a prisoner escaping from prison guarantee someone to be shooting anyhow to school children playing in the fields.
All this are many unrecorded cases just happened in a span of 2 months. We still believe we safe, we still believe in our government, we still believe in whoever who is in charge of our security. Not deaths from terrorist attacks, not extrajudicial killings, not police brutality, not rogue KDF and police have shaken our government to raise la security alert.
Yes we are okay as they say, yes Interior Ministry is working, yes the office of the inspector General is working. Yes we are okay. I mean everything is going as it is supposed to be.
I Generali Osumo Jnr will be accused for spreading hate just because of a simple, sincere and open observation like this one. It's me who belong to jail and not criminals under the government payroll killing innocent Kenyans let right and centre. We are a country which observes the rule of law upside down.
