    Kenyan man Kennedy Odhiambo, 38 in critical condition after stabbed 37 times in US



    DALLAS, TEXAS 



    A Kenyan man is in  critical condition in a US hospital with numerous cut injuries after a fierce assault.  Kennedy Odhiambo, 38, suffered serious wounds after an American man assaulted him and stubbed him 37 times at his home in Arlington, Texas, around 30 miles (48km) west of Dallas.



    His sister Anna Obare, who Spoke the News Room, said Mr Odhiambo had a female guest at his home and it is trusted that she called the attacker at some point around 8pm (4am Kenyan time).









    The attacker came over to the residence and Odhiambo let him in as he knew him. He had been providing his would-be attacker with a place to stay and even offered him food several times in the past.








    As the attack was happening, Mr Odhiambo's sibling Eddy Otieno arrived at the residence to visit him. He walked into the scene and when the attacker saw him, he turned on him and endeavored to choke him with a string.   Mr Otieno  escapeD after a battle and called the police.



    The police and paramedics arrived and transported the ounconscious Odhiambo to the John Peter Smith (JPS) Hospital in Fo rtworth, Texas, which is around 40 miles (64km) west of Dallas.



    LUCKY TO BE ALIVE 



    A specialist at the HOSPITAL center said Mr Odhiambo is presently breathing all alone and that he was fortunate that he made it to the clinic on time as it would have been deadly had additional time slipped by.  His sibling was, be that as it may, treated and released. He endured a swollen face.



    The police have issued a warrant for the ATTACKER'S ARREST and are looking to accuse him ambush of a destructive weapon and endeavored murder.
