Interial Cabinet Secretary Joseph Nkaissery has rdemanded an apology from Coalition for Reforms and Democracy (CORD) Leader Raila Odinga for supposedly offending him.
Talking at Maparasha Village in Kajiado Central on Sunday, Nkaissery asserted that the CORD Leader had on different events offended him, including that he has had enough and would now seek the counsel of his lawyers.
Amid his visit to Kajiado Central a week ago, Mr Odinga said that CS Nkaissery resemble a housefly that fell into some milk and kicked the bucket.
In the meantime, Mr Odinga said that the CS resembled a puppy that was tricked by the impression of a bone in water and surrendered the bone it had.
Nkaissery warned that if Raila does not apologize for the comments he would sue him.
He further called on politicians to campaign peacefully.
This comes scarcely two weeks after Interior CS Joseph Nkaissery warned Raila Odinga against actuating the Law Society of Kenya and people in general to have him leave over the rising instances of additional legal killings.
Nkaissery said he would not move to one side unless asked for to do as such by his naming power, President Uhuru Kenyatta.
"I cannot resign because somebody just want me to resign; I will remain in office until the person who gave me the job tells me to resign,," he said.
The CS pardoned himself from fault over instances of maverick cops, including that he has requested the Inspector General of Police Joseph Boinnet to make a move over undisciplined officers.
"We already know that action has already been taken against the officers involved, the case is in court. Therefore, I don’t see the reason for politician bickering and calls for my resignation. I have played my part as a Cabinet Secretary and the rest is left with the court.." Nkaissery
