CEO of the Postal Corporation of Kenya Mr. Enock Kinara |
Mr Kinara has been firm to protect public property from being grabbed by someone who is hungry for the Kenyans blood for him to rise to political and economic power.
Ruto was salivating to loot the Postal Corporation land only to be stopped by Kinara, he did it simple, do away with the stumbling block and lay his hands on public property and break the law on which he swore to protect and respect.
This is the same man who commandeered the eviction and killing our people in the Rift Valley during the 2007 polls. Despite this we forgot and moved on.
Our people in Gusii who lost their relatives, property and some crippled are today struggling to mint survival opportunities out of the abject poverty they were subjected to after the 2007 painful ordeal. We have been patient enough and our generosity allows us to welcome this same man on a weekly basis to our land to sell his rotten, stinking political ambitions. We are a community raised by morals, we believe not in revenge.
Unfortunately, he has mistaken our patience for a weakness his taken war to our few brilliant, hardworking brothers and sisters reaping from their sweat in government offices in order to assist their aging, ailing fathers and mothers in the villages.
Efforts to reduce the levels of political repression took visibility since the promulgation of a democratic new constitution in 2010, which gives us space to work out of the pressure from political lords. We are not going to allow our generation perish and be rendered to suffering and oppression because of fear. We have chose to speak out for the whole world to see that we ain't at peace.
Yes, they might silence Generali Osumo Jnr for uttering this bit of truth, but they ought not to forget that the supreme power of the people will be upon evil not long. We demand for a clear and satisfactory explanation to why Mr. Kinara's dismissal and replacement was done so casual and against the put standards and regulations of the employment and appointment act.
