Jaramogi Oginga Odinga University of Technology ladies representatives aspirant Faith Ayienda has urged all students across universities currently in the electionaring period to shun TRIBALISIM and vote leaders on the basis of their manifesto.
Speaking to this writer, Faith insisted that tribalism has been a cause of division in the universities and a major cause of peace less state. “ I am always worried of the breed of tribalisits we are grooming in our universities.
These are not the minds we expect to come out of our universities. We expect proper and square thinkers who are led by principle and reason. We should elect our leaders on the basis of ability,capability and their manifesto.
Faith also insisted that she will attend to all students equitably once elected. She insisted that she is ready to bring the ladies representatives docket that has been defunct back to life not only in Jaramogi but also in the national student union.
“I want to be an inspiration to the many ladies out there fearing to take the lead. I want to rejuvenate the spirit of service and humility in leadership. Faith is fit and ready. Not now,but from yesterday.”
