Things are getting hotter in the NASA/CORD house as negotiations for positions for the principals get underway.
As at last week the arrangement was to have Raila as President, Kalonzo as Deputy President, Mudavadi as Nairobi Governor and Wetanguls as senate speaker.

However as at today it has taken a tribal twist where the Luos have vowed that Kidero must be the Flag bearer for the Governors seat in Nairobi .
Essentially this means that Luos want to be in position 1 and 3 and still expect Luhyas to still support them.
The other principals have stated that they cannot support Raila for President (a Luo) and Kidero be nairobi governor (also a luo).
Things have hit a dead end. The position taken by the luo team is informed by the fact that Kidero is the current chief financier of Raila and without him, Raila becomes a lame duck.
Mudavadi had given Luhya high hopes as the one spearheading NASA but as it appears his lack of aggressiveness has made him a listener and only waiting for whatever he is given. This is a let down to the Luhya community which expected nothing less than the presidency. Luhyas have been relegated to mere pains in the NASA arrangement and of no consequence.

Those who have been with Rails had forewarned Mudavadi about the dalliance with Rails and the luos for their selfishness and the way the CORD leader has always looked down on Luhya but he never took the advise.
Luhyas are not comfortable with the arrangements and would rather have Wetangula quit this selfishness and team up with other like minded Luhya leaders for a presidential bid in 2017 if Mudavadi can not live up to his promise to become the next President no matter what after he was named by Atwoli as Luhya spokesperson in a controversial arrangement that leaves slot to be desired if Atwoli is an architect of Raila's scheme to undermine the Luhya communit.
This shocking revelation in the NASA political deals reduces Luhya to nothing evoking the "wapumbavu" tag that was propagated by the CORD leader when Ababu Namwanba left ODM to initiate the Mulembe Consciousness that has been watered down by Atwoli.
The question that now lingers in the minds of Luhya is "Ni NASA or no Kunaswa"
The reality is with Mudavadis wait to be given attitude, he has become a let down to the Luhya
