    Assembly staff count - Kisii rejects





    Kisii assembly speaker Kerosi Ondieki yesterday dismisses a Public Service Board staff consider "overstated".

    "In what manner can the board show that the get together has 116 representatives yet it has just 54?" Ondieki said.

    Ward agents Timothy Nyarang'o (Sengera Bosoti), Samuel Apoko (Kiogoro), Joash Orora (Masimba), Godffrey Nyamache (Birongo), and Francis Aburi (Ichuni) said the report has "gigantic" slips.

    They said it didn't catch the representatives in Monyerero, Masimba, Kiogoro and Nyakoe wards.

    The MCAs said the report ought to have shown there are no workers in the wards if that is the situation rather than forgetting them.

    The report was tabled taking after a solicitation by Boochi Borabu MCA Samuel Onuko.

    He needs to know the quantity of region workers and their dissemination.

    Tabling the report, delegate leader of larger part Shem Ondara said the province has 5,056 representatives.

    Nyarang'o said: "I am shocked that the report demonstrates that my ward has 99 representatives. The reality of the situation is that I have 22 ECD educators, eight authorization officers and three amusing ones."

    Ondara pulled back the report and sent it back to the PSB for survey and retabling in two weeks.
