Former Kitutu Masaba Member of parliament and current Jomo Kenyatta Foundation Chairman Hon, Walter Nyambati has asked Nyamira governor John Nyagarama to instill discipline in his workers before he asks the public to vote for him again come 2017.
Nyambati, who spoke at the burial of a brother to North Mugirango Member of Parliament hopeful and speaker to the Nyamira county assembly Hon Joash Nyamoko, asked the governor to stop ferrying county workers to the several funerals and public functions he attends.
The governor has been on the spotlight over misuse of public funds in ferrying county workers to every public function in the county so that they can clap for him when he talks. This was after Nyagarama suffered several humiliations and public embarrassment as Nyamira residents booed him in every public function he attended over under-performance and corruption in the Nyamira county government.
Nyambati who arrived and found the ferried Nyagarama workers making noise in the funeral gave them a stern warning on their tendency of disrupting public functions where their corrupt master is not well received.
The North Mugirango people even so booed the governor and promised to kick him out come 2017.
