Kitutu Masaba constituents have vowed to rally behind one candidate in the upcoming general election. The people of Kitutu masaba who have been left out of government in the present government have said they have learnt from their mistake of splitting votes in the 2013 election.
Several people have spread the same message in functions across the constituency.
“Making a mistake is not a mistake, repeating a mistake is the real mistake. Let’s not repeat the same mistake we made in 2013. You can see how much it has costed us.” Said Siruel a former magombo ward councilor.
“Let us all ensure we register as voters. Our votes are many enough to take one of our most trusted candidates to office. Let all of us rally behind one candidate and for sure we shall form government.” Said Gekone Mankone, a resident from Manga ward.
“I am sure that it could have been better for us if we had one of our own in that big office. The reason as to why we have suffered this much is because we don’t have anybody to fight for us at the county government. If we are keen enough we can capture this seat.”
Meetings are being held across the constituency to ensure that all the aspiring candidates from kitutu masaba are enjoined to one.
