Unity calls based based on fake political ambitions and cheap soundless gimmicks ain't welcomed to shape our political directions as a community. For someone like Kisii Senator Chris Obure to be calling for a community to unite not because we are at war or we divided, but because of selfish interests of power hungriness.
Obure has been in active politics since the times of KANU, this is someone who has even served as a cabinet minister, he didn't see the sense of unity then and why should he come to tell us of unity towards his retirement age. Unity for what and why unity towards the general elections?
The truth is that Obure calls are targeted of him being the next Kisii Governor not through competence but by confusing voters and wooing them into unprecedented political deals of being in Government. Has he cleared himself from the Goldenberg scandal for us to trust him with our billions in the county government?
Must we be in Government for us to get anything from the national cake. What is Joash Maangi the failed, clueless Deputy Governor being a cabinet secretary in Jubilee government going to benefit us as a community.
Should this people drag our vote towards filling their bellies? We know Maangi has been promised to be a cabinet secretary if he achieves to disrupt and cause rifts in the Kisii County government where he serves as a Deputy governor. Kitutu Chache South MP Richard Tong'i is someone who is living under desperation because of the multiple sugar scandals and pending cases he is having in court. These cases have almost made him go bankrupt, Jubilee promised to help him do away with the cases on which he spent millions of his CDF funds to do private sugar deals which landed him to sound loses. He is calling for unity for him to run away with unlawfulness.
Kitutu Chache North Mp Jimmy Angwenyi is another old folk who has been in politics since 1969. He is one person who has perfected the art of arrogance and intimidation to whoever who seems to point out his dirty political deals.
Have we forgotten what he did to his constituents after he was defeated in the 2007 elections? Has he went back to console and compensate the families of the poor voters whom lost their lives in front of his gun's trigger? All this integrity questions on him disqualifies him from to be the one calling for our unity. What of his record as a member of parliament in his constituency, pathetic and stinking.
Another one is Zebedeo Opore from Bonchari constituency. He has also perfected the art of hooliganism and thuggery in his constituency that nobody can question about anything to do with the rampant corruption, misappropriation of funds and misuse of constituency resources. The people of his constituency are living in fear and can't even breath freely without fear of being attacked by hired hooligans. I know am putting my life on a risk by saying this but i choose to die for what is factual and truthful.
Briefly, these are the entities and individuals leading the quest for unity of Omogusii. People who have rode in evil, corruption and impunity to be in the leadership positions they are today in. Have they tbout the billions of cash they have been facilitated with for them to come and woo people to Jubilee by splashing money in funerals and fundraising?
What about that gang the terrorizing other youths in the county who haven't borrowed this crap!! This unity calls are here for destruction purposes to our community. it has changed to be disunity instead of the unity being sang.
WE AREN'T AT WAR, WE AREN'T DIVIDED, we have been living in harmony and peace since the times of our forefathers. We need not to be taken into unnecessary political arousements, we must live to adore our values and traditions as a community.We MUST KEEP OUR RESPECT FOR HUMAN LIFE.
