The Lord has been always faithful to us. From the time we started this fight, together He has been our guide. Our dear sister Valerie Kerubo Mokua a student at Ichuni Girls High School has the hope of sitting for her forthcoming KCSE examinations.
This comes after she underwent a successful eye surgery for her cornea transplant at Kikuyu PCEA Mission Hospital, today 11th August 2016.
"I went to the Theatre room with much determination and faith that I will come out a more healthier and stronger person. By the grace of God my longtime prayer of having His hand upon me has come to pass, Glory be to the Almighty and many thanks to all those who have stood with me in prayer and support of every kind this times of trial.

I want to come out of this bed and be a testimony to everybody who is thinking of losing hope", said Valerie minutes after the operation.
The energy seen in the girl gives a lot of promise, she is truly determined to be out of her current condition and be a heroin. She is scheduled to be at the hospital for 2 to 3 days from now for routine medical examination from the doctors.
Afterwards she will leave hospital and expected back to school in 2 weeks time as she awaits the doctor's advice on when she is fit for the second surgery for the other eye. Her smiles gives a picture of a new being having a lifetime feeling of happiness and joy. Praise the LORD.
